Joncherey en trois vidéos : village, monument et képi

Un aperçu de la commune, le monument au caporal Peugeot et un reportage sur un objet lié à son histoire, vérifiés sur les pages d’origine.

Globetrotteuse06 published this 2-minute-14-second video on 5 June 2024 under the title “La Ville de Joncherey - Franche Comté.” The creator’s description lists Saint-André church, the town hall, Sainte-Véronique chapel, the Caporal Peugeot monument, Étang Verchat and Les Cabanes des Grands Reflets as things to discover. That is the uploader’s visitor-oriented list, not a verified shot-by-shot description; the page does not establish current opening times or access to every named place. It works as a broad introduction to the commune, while the town and site operators remain the sources for practical planning.

This 17-second clip by jiří chalupa was uploaded on 18 March 2018 as “Joncherey - Monument - Jules-André Peugeot.” Its description identifies the memorial to the corporal and the date 2 August 1914. It is a short monument-focused record, not a full historical account. The original description loosely says the death came before the start of the First World War; the municipal chronology is more precise that the encounter occurred before the French-German declaration of war, while the wider conflict had already begun. The town’s own record and the Ministry of Culture’s monument file are the stronger references for dates and context.

France 3 Grand Est published this 2-minute-1-second report on 16 March 2021 under the title “Histoire : le képi du caporal Peugeot est au mémorial de Haute-Alsace.” The page description says the Mémorial de Haute-Alsace received the kepi, on loan from the commune of Joncherey. This is a related historical object presented at a museum outside the village, not a video of a route or a current attraction in Joncherey. Its value here is the link between the local memorial story and an artefact attributed by the broadcaster to Peugeot; the report should not be used for current museum hours without checking that institution directly.
