Robertsfors in three films: the last log drive, Brukskanalen and an aerial view

Three distinct films approach Robertsfors through Rickleån's timber history, the historic canal and a filmed view of the community.

This museum archive film is titled “Sista flottningen i Rickleån 1961” (“The last log drive on the Rickleån, 1961”). Its published credits identify Folke Byström as filmmaker, Rickard Tegström as editor and Axel Norström as narrator. The subject gives context to Flottarstigen, the route whose name recalls timber once floated downriver toward the coast. It is a historical film rather than a current trail report: use it to understand the working river, then check today’s trail conditions, access and fishing rules with the municipality.

Robertsfors Municipality published this short film under the exact title “Projekt: Brukskanalen, Robertsfors.” The canal belongs to the water system that supported the historic works, alongside the dams and power station still identified in the municipal heritage description. This clip offers a second, more focused way into the industrial landscape: it concerns the canal project, not the entire history of Robertsfors. Pair it with a walk around the works area, while remembering that access to individual buildings and the museum may depend on current arrangements.

Cyrus The Virus published this 2018 video with the location identified as Robertsfors, Sweden, and the description names a Mavic Pro drone. It adds an independent, aerial perspective to the two history-focused films. That makes it useful for orienting yourself to the locality, but it is not official mapping, a complete survey or visitor information. Roads, trails and public access should be confirmed through the municipality; an aerial clip cannot establish whether a particular building or path is open.
