Grums in remembered places and an evening walk

Two archival photo-comparison films and a recent after-dark walk offer distinct views of Grums and its changing streets.

The first instalment of markettatony's two-part Grums photo series is titled Grums från nu till förr i tiden del 1 av 2. Its description says the pictures show Grums at the same places, from the present toward the past. The 9:31 upload dates to 10 May 2018. Read it as a local-memory piece: it invites viewers to compare how familiar settings change, rather than offering a complete architectural inventory or a current visitor map. The municipality's history and map remain the place to verify names, access and the age of specific sites.

This 5:15 companion upload, published by markettatony on 23 May 2018, continues the same-place comparison under the title Grums från nu till förr i tiden del 2. The uploader's description again frames it as pictures of Grums taken from matching locations across different times. Its value is the second chapter's separate selection of remembered settings; it should not be treated as a duplicate of part one or as proof of an unverified date for any building. Together the two short films offer a personal visual prompt for noticing the town's industrial-era streets and later changes.

Björkegren Walks published this 15:20 full walk on 3 May 2026. The description identifies a Thursday-night route through Grums centre, passing the small railway station and scattered lights, and mentions the nearby paper mill as part of the town's atmosphere. The film's after-dark perspective is distinct from the older photo comparisons: it is a contemporary walk, not a daytime orientation or a promise that every service shown is open. Use the municipality's current transport and visitor information to plan your own route and confirm departures.
