Dörte Ploog’s short drone montage is explicitly about Osterrade and uses aerial footage made between spring and autumn 2020. That seasonal span makes it a useful visual introduction to a municipality whose scattered settlements and open farmland are easier to understand from above than from a single village street. It is an impression of the landscape, not a current map, walking route or visitor-service guide; use today’s signs and local information for a visit.

Another view of Osterrade

This boating clip follows an approach to the Gieselau lock from the Eider toward the Kiel Canal.
