Eurajoki in three films: Olkiluoto, Laitakari and Vuojoen manor

Three distinct introductions to Eurajoki: TVO's visitor-centre explainer, a film of the Laitakari heritage harbour and a documentary on Vuojoen Kartano.

TVO's short official film introduces the Olkiluoto Visitor Centre, the public-facing place to learn how nuclear power works and how nuclear fuel moves through its life cycle. It is a compact companion to a site visit, not evidence that visitors can enter the operating plant or the ONKALO repository. The centre itself is outside the restricted area; current access rules and opening hours should be checked before travelling.

This brief film comes from the Laitakari traditional boat harbour and presents the setting around the galleass Ihana. Its focus is the maritime side of Eurajoki: a harbour connected with Luvia's shipbuilding past and a modern wooden vessel built in 2011 to renew that tradition. Seasonal departures and harbour services are separate from the film, so check the current programme if you want to sail rather than simply see the place.

LaitilanTelevisio's first instalment on Vuojoen Kartano is a longer local television documentary devoted to the manor. It offers a slower look at the estate whose 1836 main building was designed by C. L. Engel, rather than a quick promotional montage. The film belongs to an earlier period of online visitor information; for present-day tours, dining, accommodation and events, consult the manor's current programme.
