Ernen on foot, in a village guide and through its 2026 music season

Two village walks and the official 2026 Musikdorf season feature show Ernen’s built landscape and its continuing cultural life.

Relaxing Nature Ambience’s “Switzerland Walk” presents Ernen through a slow moving village tour filmed from a scooter. It gives viewers a broad sense of the compact settlement and its mountain setting, but it is not a guided heritage explanation. Use it to preview the scenery, then rely on the municipality’s historical notes for dates and building details. The film cannot confirm current road or path conditions.

Walliser Guide’s “Dorf Rundgang in Ernen” offers a locally framed village walk in the Goms. This is the most directly interpretive of the two walking videos by title and channel, and it can help orient a first-time visitor to the village scale. It remains one recorded tour rather than a current route bulletin; opening times for the church, museum and other buildings should be checked separately.

The official MusikdorfErnen film introduces the festival’s 53rd concert season, titled “Flow,” for 2026. It adds a cultural dimension to the village footage and helps viewers understand that Ernen’s appeal includes a recurring programme of concerts, not only architecture and alpine scenery. Festival dates and performers are season-specific, so consult the organiser’s current calendar and ticket information rather than treating the video as a live schedule.
