Easton, Lincolnshire: manor history and walled gardens near the A1

Easton is a village and civil parish in South Kesteven, Lincolnshire, almost 2 miles north of Colsterworth and about 1 mile east of the A1. The settlement has remained small since Domesday times but gained later distinction through Easton Hall and, above all, Easton Walled Gardens, which survive as one of the area's best-known visitor attractions. The parish church is at nearby Stoke Rochford, within Easton civil parish.
Distance: about 2 miles north of Colsterworth and around 10 miles south of Grantham.
