Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is a seaside town and civil parish in Northumberland, England, located on the North Sea coast. The town is a fishing port and formerly a part of a trade route for shipping grain. Between 1908 and 1967 the town had a coal mine, which was converted into the Woodhorn Museum and heritage centre.
