Heidelberg is known as home of the oldest university in Germany, founded in the 14th century.
This city is located in southwestern Germany and it is known for its beautiful old town with gothic streets and baroque buildings from 18th century.

The view of Heidelberg Palace and the historic district on the Neckar river from the Garden is one of the most beautiful. The grand Elizabeth Gate, a royal birthday gift from the 17th century, is a favorite photographed scene.

Take a walk with us on this beautiful autumn day and enjoy Heidelberg. We are walking along Hauptstrasse, starting at the Bismarckplatz, pass the Heiliggeistkirche and Karslplatz with a great view up to the castle. Then we turn to the river Neckar and cross the famous old bridge called “Alte Brücke”.
