Easton, Suffolk: an estate village of church, parkland and rural tradition

Easton is a village in Suffolk on the River Deben, about 3 miles south of Framlingham. Historically it was the estate village of Easton Park, once the seat of the Dukes of Hamilton. The great house was sold after the First World War and later demolished, but the village still preserves a strong sense of estate history. All Saints Church, largely medieval and Grade I listed, remains the chief historic landmark.
